Official gazette: the decision to increase the minimum wage for government employees
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, prime minister, issued Decision No.for the year , published in the Official Gazette, amending his previous decision no. 1627 for the yearconcerning the values of the new minimum wage for employees working in the government and employees of Economic public bodies and government companies.

Came the text of the resolution: the prime minister after reviewing the Constitution and the law of public bodies issued by Law No. 61 of 1963 and the Civil Service Law promulgated by Law No. 81 of 2016, on the Finance Act Public material issued by Law No. 6 of 2022, and Law No. 85 for the year 2022 is associating the state budget lost financial 2023/2022, and Law No. 166 of 2022 the report of the relationship of the cost of the standard steel staff the addressees of the Civil Service Law and the state employees not addressed to it.

By deciding on an exceptional grant for employees of public sector companies and the public business sector and granting pensioners or their beneficiaries an exceptional Grant; on the special laws and regulations governing the affairs of employees of administrative bodies not subject to the provisions of the civil service law; on the Prime Minister's decision no. 1627 for to determine the minimum wage for employees and employees of state agencies and economic public bodies and its amendments; after the approval of the Council of ministers, it is decided to::

Article the first: as of November 1, 2022, the adjusted value of the minimum legal pay contained the text of the first article of the Prime Minister's Decision No. 1627 long 2019 on decisions, numbers 2421 year 2019, and 1455 of 2021, and 1325 of 2022 so that at least the minimum wage of staff and workers by state bodies, public services and the economy of what is to come :

The minimum wage for premium class employees is EGP 9,000 per month.
The minimum wage for high-class employees is 6600 pounds per month.
The minimum wage for general manager employees is EGP 5400 per month.
The minimum wage for first-class employees is 4800 pounds.
The minimum wage for second-class employees is 4200 pounds.
The minimum wage for third-class employees is 3720 pounds.
The minimum wage for employees of the fourth class reaches 3480 pounds.
The minimum wage for employees of the fifth is 3240 pounds.
The minimum wage for employees of the sixth grade is 3000 pounds.
Article Two: the text of Article three of the Prime Minister's decision no. ١٦٢٧ for a year shall be replaced by the following text: the employee or worker shall be entitled to a supplementary incentive representing the difference between the total wage and the minimum wage provided for in Article one of this decision, taking into account the following :

When calculating the difference, any bonuses, allowances or cash benefits paid for public purposes or collectively, Whether monthly or periodic, once or several times per year, and what was decided under law no.لسنة for the year المشار referred to, regardless of the source of funding or the budget section to which the deduction is made, shall be taken into account, provided that its monthly average is calculated in pounds on the first of November of the year ٢٠٢٢.
The calculation of the indicated difference does not take into account the established incentive to attract employment, the compensatory incentive, the additional incentive established by law no.لسنة for a year ٢٠١٩, full-time allowances, allowances and salaries for living in remote areas, allowances for the conditions and risks of the job, and the value of any benefits in kind, and these bonuses, allowances and benefits remain disbursed to their beneficiaries in accordance with the rules governing them.
The general controls for the entitlement of incentives, bonuses and allowances received by the employee / worker shall apply to the indicated supplementary incentive.
Article three: this decision shall be published in the Official Gazette.
