Pensioners, whose number exceeds 10.5 million people, are looking for the date of the new pension increase, scheduled by the National Social Insurance Authority.
The date of the new pension increase
The increase in pensions will be made every year at the beginning of July in accordance with the Insurance Law No. 148 of 2019, which provides for an increase in pensions annually, as Article No. 35 stipulates that pensions due on June 30 of each year, starting from July 1, will be increased by a maximum of 15% increase.
The Ministry of solidarity is scheduled to announce the New increase and start disbursing it in July 2023, and the National Social Insurance Authority will also start disbursing pensions for the month of December 2022 to more than 10 million pensioners, with the New increase of EGP 300, as part of the social protection decisions announced by the prime minister.
The December 2022 pension disbursement was divided into three tranches, as the November pension is disbursed to pensioners less than 1000 pounds on Thursday and Saturday, December 1 and 3, 2022.

Pensions for the month of December 2022 in the category from EGP 1000 to less than 2000 are paid on Sunday and Monday, December 4 and 5, 2022.

December 2022 pensions over EGP 2000 will be disbursed on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 6 and 7, 2022.

Calculation of the new pension increase
The one who receives 1000 pounds, will receive 1300 pounds after the December 2022 pension increase.

The one who receives 2000 pounds, will receive 2300 pounds after the December 2022 pension increase.

Those who receive 3200 pounds will receive 3500 pounds after the December 2022 pension increase.

Those who receive 4,000 pounds will receive 4,300 pounds after the December 2022 pension increase.

Those who receive 5,000 pounds will receive 5,300 pounds after the December 2022 pension increase.

The one who gets 6000 pounds will have his pension after the extraordinary increase of 6300 pounds.
